See me nodding in empathy? Me too!

I know what it is like to start with a zero budget, or a shoestring too short to so much as wrap around your finger - never mind tying it!

Still. It IS possible. It just takes some of us longer.

There's no real shame in being poor. Only in being lazy, and unwilling to work. If you are eager to learn and to work hard, you can succeed! Wonderfully!

But you must not give up. If one way doesn't work, pray, make sure you're going in the right direction, and doing it correctly, then try again, or hunt for an alternate solution. It will probably turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to you! It usually does.

I have SO MUCH to share with you! Both personal stories, and suggestions for how to speed up the learning curve, without taking the false detours I've taken. If you end up on a rabbit trail, don't despair. It's a lesson in your University of Hard Knocks. You're not likely to make that mistake again - which is worth something down the line. But if you'll heed my advice, you can skip some of those hard knock lessons and forge ahead to a quicker success.

More recently I was planning to start another business in which I would train just four students at a time in all the details of running a web business of their own from their computer at home. It would be like a web business incubator. each course lasting four months. This idea is not quite ready to fly yet, but I've decided to start putting the basic lessons I would offer on this site, for those who are able to learn on their own if they can but get at the necessary information.

My business, Azaleas Virtual Assistants, is located in a second story suite in the Western Tract Mission building at 401 33rd Street and Ave. D, in Saskatoon. So I am able to take on the ocassional clients for tutoring or guidance in specific areas of their web business. These sessions can be on anything from getting to know your own computer, to learning to install an operating system, or starting up your own web business, and building and maintaining your own web site.

You do not need to have a lot of knowledge of computers or the internet, as long as you are willing to learn. I started from nothing. It just takes more perserverance to start an online business from ground zero. Fortunately, I believe I can help you avoid some of the more painful learning curves.
